Great Western Trail sets players as ranchers in 19th century America. Players herd their cattle from Texas to Kansas City, earning money and victory points. However, the “Great Western Trail” not only requires that you keep your herd in good shape, but also that you wisely use the various buildings along the trail. Players will seek to hire capable staff: cowboys to improve their herd, craftsmen to build their own buildings, or engineers for the important railroad line. This is the second consecutive IGA for designer Pfister and publisher eggertspiele.

Players will find both strengths and weaknesses reflected in their custom deck of cards, and these cards will be their resources as they work cooperatively to unravel the world’s most terrifying mysteries. Each adventure carries players deeper into mystery, where they will find cultists and foul rituals, haunted houses and strange creatures. And they may find signs of the Ancient Ones straining against the barriers to our world…
